The Story of Our Auto Repair Shop

The Lincolnway Service Center Difference

From Dave's experience, he specialized in SAABs, but decided to include foreign and domestic cars as well. Dave said, "The SAAB owners would have other cars that needed fixed too." He thought it would be good for his business.
In 1989 he started to sell the cars that he would fix up to bring more business.

That brought the name LINCOLNWAY SALES & SERVICE.
When the year 2000 came around the corner, Dave went through stages of building more businesses, and yes, still on the same lot! Auto Repair, Auto Sales, Auto Body, Powder Coating. His desire to help and fill the voids of those in need in auto care grew to not just foreign and domestic, but american as well. "With the economy being the way it is, more people are turning to fixing the cars in their garage, rather than buying new ones, I just want to be there for them!"
But Dave couldn't resist but to come back and put more focus on his original love, and that being the grease monkey of Abbottstown, Pa. So his next step in 2011 was to team up with NAPA to help turn his business into a NAPA Auto Care Center.

Fast forward to January 2023. Due to the Economy and Dave's health problems we had to take a step back and put a pause on car sales. While Dave is working on getting his health in better shape we brought the legendary Chuck Berry on board to help us grow. His only weak side is he sadly does not sing, dance or play the guitar :( With Chuck being with us he brought on a whole new skillset that help us grow and move into the modern era with added technology and now you as our customers have a more streamlined way of doing business with us. You can now schedule online at your leisure. You have a free online portal where you can view current estimates and approve repairs and view previous repairs and pay for your repairs right from you computer or phone. Expanded our capabilities to be able to service the med/ heavy trucks and overall bringing Dave's vision of being able to do any repair at one place and be happy with our work.

We have a ton of plans for the future and hope everyone jumps onboard for the ride. We plan to bring Autobody repairs back in 2024 so stay tuned and check us out on Facebook for updates
